The Mummy 4 is reuniting stars after 25 years.
The Mummy franchise grew from classic monster films into the beloved Brendan Fraser trilogy, which shifted the classic story into a major action-adventure enjoyed worldwide. Fraser's trilogy began in 1999 with the release of The Mummy, followed by its sequel The Mummy Returns, released in 2001, and then the extremely divisive third movie installment, 2008's The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. The franchise continues to grow with spinoffs and horror remakes, but now the classic story is set to return.
New set photos finally unveil the long-awaited reunion between The Mummy franchise stars Rachel Weisz and Fraser as production continues for The Mummy 4. The next installment in Fraser's Mummy franchise is currently untitled and is directed by the filmmaking duo Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, otherwise known as Radio Silence. The new set photos show Fraser and Weisz upbeat on set in their respective roles as adventurer Rick O'Connell and Egyptologist Evelyn Carnahan.
