Ravens acquire two-time Pro Bowl center Jurgens in trade with Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles are trading two-time Pro Bowl center Cam Jurgens and a 2027 seventh-round pick to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for a 2027 fifth-round pick and a 2028 second-round pick, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Wednesday.

The Ravens announced the trade but did not disclose the specific draft picks involved in the transaction.

"Cam is a player we have long admired going all the way back to the draft process. He's a young foundational piece along our offensive line -- a great scheme and cultural fit who will contribute quickly in Baltimore. We are confident that Cam will significantly impact our team and community," Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta said in a statement.

The Eagles had moved Jurgens to left guard after Landon Dickerson was placed on injured reserve because of a knee injury. Jurgens self-reported concussion symptoms Monday morning, was evaluated and is now in the concussion protocol, a source told NFL Network's Mike Garafolo on Monday.

The trade is the second major change in consecutive days for the Eagles' offensive line following All-Pro right tackle Lane Johnson's retirement from the NFL on Tuesday.

The Ravens have been searching for an answer at center since All-Pro center Tyler Linderbaum departed the franchise to sign with the Las Vegas Raiders in free agency. Jovaughn Gwyn won the starting center job out of training camp but is currently on injured reserve because of a fractured fibula. His backup, Ethan Pocic, is also on injured reserve because of a knee injury.
