Translate

Now that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 has been released onto the world, it's only natural to wonder when the MW4 version of Warzone will come out.

Of course, Activision would love for everyone to pay for the new CoD game in full, but, for all sorts of reasons, some players will be strictly sticking to the free-to-play Warzone experience.

If you're one of those people, fear not! You don't have much longer to wait, and we've got all the essential details for you below.

CoD MW4 Warzone comes out on Friday 6 November at 5am UK time, the developers have confirmed.

This aligns with the release of CoD MW4 season 1, which falls on the same day and will bring six new maps and modes to the main game.

But what do we know about the new Warzone experience? Keep on reading to find out, friendo.

What to expect from CoD MW4 Warzone

The official Call of Duty blog has promised Warzone players that two new maps will be available as part of this update, as well as returns for Rebirth Island and Verdansk.

If you want to exact wording, here's how the blog described the updated Warzone: "Play across two new maps in Call of Duty: Warzone as the Season 1 update brings both Hajin and Zodiac, plus the return of Verdansk and Rebirth Island, additional game modes, gameplay features, and more as Modern Warfare 4 becomes fully integrated with the free-to-play game."

So you should have plenty to keep you busy, and all without spending a penny!
