KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 31 — Batik Air is offering passengers special Merdeka fare discounts and exclusive retail perks at the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang as part of a campaign bringing together the airline’s retail partners.

In a statement, Batik Air said the campaign brings together participating retailers to offer passengers added value throughout their journey and highlights the airline’s collaboration with the local business community.

Passengers can enjoy 15 per cent off Batik Air value fares and 30 per cent off flexi fares for a limited time, alongside exclusive offers from participating Subang retailers including Starbucks, Burger King, Famous Amos, JETSETGO and Sky Lounge.

Batik Air chief executive officer Datuk Chandran Rama Muthy said Subang plays an important role in making air travel more accessible and convenient for travellers in the Klang Valley.

“By working together with our retail partners, this campaign allows us to add more value to the passenger journey while supporting the businesses that are part of the Subang community,” he said.

Batik Air said the initiative also reflected its efforts to enhance the overall passenger experience and support businesses surrounding the airport.

The airline has continued to expand its presence at Subang, with the airport now serving as a departure point for destinations including Johor Bahru, Kota Bharu, Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, Langkawi, Penang, Singapore, Bangkok and Jakarta.

Batik Air currently operates more than 144 weekly flights from Subang, with further destinations in the pipeline as its network continues to expand. — Bernama
