WEATHER: Fine and warm conditions to dominate South Africa

Here is what the weather has in store for KZN, Free State and North West on Friday 21 August 2026.

KWAZULU-NATAL

Morning fog will cover the central and western interior, while most areas remain fine and cool to warm. Cloudy conditions will spread across the east from the evening.

Along the coast, light to moderate southerly to southwesterly winds will blow north of Cape St Lucia, while northerly to north-easterly winds will affect other areas and reach Kosi Bay by the afternoon.
