Will there be a Kill Jackie season 2?

*Warning: This article contains spoilers for Kill Jackie season 1.*
Release date/status: Season 2 not confirmed First episode release date: Season 1 premiered Friday 2 October 2026 Release pattern: Eight episodes Total episodes: 8 (season 1) Channel/Streaming service: AMC+ (US); Prime Video (UK)
Catherine Zeta-Jones takes centre stage in Kill Jackie as Jackie Price, a wealthy art dealer whose past as an international drug smuggler comes back to haunt her in violent fashion.
The eight-episode revenge thriller has now landed, drawing comparisons to the John Wick films for its assassin-hunter premise, but the series hasn't quite received the same glowing reviews as its Keanu Reeves-fronted counterpart.
With season 1 only just out, fans are already asking whether Jackie's story has further to run – especially given the way things wrapped up at the end of the instalment. Zeta-Jones herself has made clear she is far from finished with the character. But will there be more?
Read on for everything we know so far about a potential second season of Kill Jackie.

As things stand, a second season of Kill Jackie has not been confirmed.
The series launched as an eight-episode run but by the end of the series, it became clear that there was still gas left in the tank regarding this story and Jackie's new endeavours.
Whether the show returns is likely to hinge on how audiences respond now that all episodes are available on AMC+ and Prime Video. So, watch this space.
What have the cast and creators of Kill Jackie said about a potential season 2?
A continuation is certainly possible – and the show's leading lady is keen.
Speaking exclusively to Radio Times, Zeta-Jones said she still has plenty of ideas for where Jackie Price could go next.
She said: "I'm not done with Jackie Price yet. I've got more in me for her. I think the story, it lends itself to go on to greater and bigger and crazier stuff. I'm hoping if we get a good audience reaction that could be a possibility. But if it's not, I'm so happy with this show from beginning, middle and end that it would be one of my best experiences of working actually."
Her comments suggest the creative team sees room for expansion should the numbers justify it, but she also frames season 1 as a satisfying story in its own right.
What would a potential Kill Jackie season 2 be about?

Seeing as Jackie made it out of season 1 relatively unscathed – and more importantly, alive, after being hunted – then the possibilities for the show are far-reaching. Not only did Jackie survive, but she also accrued quite the gang around her and even took over The Seven Demons — whether or not they can all be trusted is another thing.
Jackie and Gwen's relationship was obviously a focal point in the later episodes of the season, with it being far from the picture-perfect mother and daughter relationship. But it's also certainly one that has scope for exploration, especially if we dig further into Jackie's past.
Who is in the Kill Jackie cast?
Season 1 assembled a substantial ensemble around Zeta-Jones:
- Catherine Zeta-Jones as Jackie Price
- Daniel Ings as Sam
- Sidse Babett Knudsen as Karenina
- Darci Shaw as Gwen
- Raff Law as Sean
Further cast members included Óscar Jaenada, Hattie Hook, Ron Perlman, Enzo Cilenti, Christine Adams and Julian Rhind-Tutt.
