Inter will be without Curtis Jones for around three weeks after the midfielder picked up a thigh problem.
According to Corriere dello Sport, tests at the Humanitas Institute on Thursday morning revealed a myofascial strain in the adductors of his right thigh. The club said his condition will be reassessed in the coming days.
The Englishman, signed from Liverpool in the summer, will miss Saturday’s home game against Parma, which is Alberto Gilardino’s first in charge of the Ducali.

Jones set to miss Champions League double
A layoff of around 20 days would also rule him out of the Champions League home games against Club Brugge on October 13 and Shakhtar Donetsk on October 21.
He would also miss league trips to Bologna and Venezia and the visit of Fiorentina, which leaves the Milan derby on October 31 as a realistic target for his return.
It is a frustrating blow for Jones, who stayed at the Pinetina during the international break to work on his fitness after a slow start to life in Milan. Cristian Chivu’s side resume level on 13 points with Roma and Lazio at the top of Serie A.
