DP World Extends India Championship Title Partnership Until 2035

DP World has confirmed it will continue as title partner of the DP World India Championship until 2035, extending its commitment to the tournament as the second edition of the USD 4 million event concludes in New Delhi. The championship currently offers the largest prize fund for a DP World Tour event held in India. The move aligns with DP World's broader commitment to the DP World Tour after a new long-term partnership agreement, the largest in the Tour's history, was announced last year. The deal extended DP World's role as Title Partner and Official Logistics Partner through to 2035.

The original title partnership, which began in 2022 and saw the European Tour rebranded as the DP World Tour, has played a key role in making the game more inclusive and globally connected.

The DP World India Championship is co-sanctioned by the DP World Tour and the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI). With DP World becoming the title and official umbrella partner of the DP World PGTI earlier this year, the tournament complements the company's wider sporting footprint in India, which includes partnerships with the Delhi Capitals men's and women's teams and grassroots initiatives aimed at growing the game through equipment donations and facility improvements.

The 2026 DP World India Championship is the eighth of nine events in the 'Back 9' phase of the Race to Dubai, leading into the season-ending Play-Offs, which culminate with the DP World Tour Championship at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai next month.

DP World is also committed to remaining title partner of the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai, the season-ending Rolex Series event at which the Race to Dubai champion is crowned, through to 2035.

This season, the DP World India Championship became the season-ending event on the DP World PGTI calendar, bringing it into closer alignment with the DP World Tour's Race to Dubai. The DP World PGTI Order of Merit champion will be crowned at the conclusion of the tournament, with the winner earning a DP World Tour card for the 2027 season.

The inaugural DP World India Championship in 2025, won by former Race to Dubai champion and European Ryder Cup star Tommy Fleetwood, also marked the DP World Tour's return to Delhi Golf Club for the first time since 2016.
