Catriona Gray set to host Miss Alcantara 2026 finals night
Miss Universe 2018 titleholder Catriona Gray was announced as the host of the upcoming Miss Alcantara 2026 coronation night in Cebu.
The beauty queen’s hosting stint was confirmed by her talent management company, Cornerstone Entertainment, through its social media pages on Tuesday, Aug. 25. The local pageant will be held on Friday, Aug. 28.

Gray also shared the announcement via her Instagram Stories, saying, “Kitakits Alcantara!”

Gray previously hosted the 2026 Binibining Pilipinas coronation night last July 18, which saw the crowning of Baguio City’s Gwendoline Meliz Soriano as Binibining Pilipinas International, and Tarlac’s Sasha-Juli Belle Lacuna as Binibining Pilipinas Globe.

Gray was also set to attend the finals night of the 2026 Miss Universe India last Aug. 23, but her scheduled appearance was canceled due to “certain conditions” that could not be met. Such conditions were not immediately disclosed to the public.
Gray nonetheless apologized to pageant fans and looked forward to visiting the country sometime soon. /edv
