World Athletics’ brand-new event pulls together the biggest track and field stars from around the globe.

Saturday’s highlights at the season-ending meet include Keely Hodgkinson bidding to strike back against rivals Audrey Werro and Femke Broeders-Bol in the latest 800m epic.

Josh Kerr and Jakob Ingebrigtsen meet for the first time in two years to renew their fierce 1500m rivalry on Sunday, which also includes the 10 other finals on an action-packed last day.

After a golden summer, sprint star Amy Hunt will hope to test herself against the world’s fastest in the 100m final on Saturday and in Sunday’s 200m final.

It has been a huge summer of athletics but the season is not done just yet – and UK viewers can dig their teeth into a busy weekend of action.

Coverage starts at 6pm on BBC Two on Friday 11 September and runs through until the end of the event on Sunday 13 September.
