Fremantle International Commercial Strategy VP Jill Kellie Exits After Four Years

EXCLUSIVE: Jill Kellie, Fremantle‘s VP of Commercial Strategy, Commercial and International, has left the Kill Jackie and Baywatch company.
Fremantle confirmed her exit to Deadline, with the departure coming more than four years after she had joined, initially in a Director of Acquisitions, Scripted Content role.
She took on her current role in 2024 and was notable for pushing Fremantle’s digital distribution business, and working on content deals on YouTube, FAST channels and ad-supported streaming.
Further back, she worked in commercially-focused roles at BBC Studios and ITV Studios, and also had earlier spells at BBC-backed 2Entertain and Universal Pictures International.
Jens Richter, Fremantle’s CEO of Commercial and International, said in a statement to Deadline today: “Jill has been an integral member of the team driving the commercial growth strategy across Fremantle’s global content business.
“She played a key role in shaping Fremantle’s content portfolio and driving Fremantle’s expansion in digital-first content distribution, scaling the company’s commercial impact across YouTube, FAST, and AVOD. It has been a pleasure to work with Jill, and we would like to thank her for all her achievements as we wish her every success for the future.”
Kellie added: “I’m really proud of my time within Fremantle’s Commercial and International division and of helping build its success. I am excited to see where the business goes next.”
Her exit from Fremantle follows that of Vasha Wallace and long-serving Commercial and International COO Bob McCourt. The company, which posted half-yearly revenues of €835M ($948M) in August, is heading to MIPCOM Cannes with the likes of Kill Jackie and Baywatch.
