Slayer Announce Liquid-Filled Reign in Blood 40th Anniversary Vinyl
Slayer have announced a limited edition liquid-filled Reign in Blood zoetrope vinyl to be released on November 20th in honor of the iconic album’s 40th anniversary.
The vinyl will fittingly be filled with “blood” to match the iconography of the album, with pre-orders available here.
The reissue of Reign in Blood in this format is yet another of the many 40th anniversary elements planned to celebrate the legendary thrash metal album that proved foundational not just for the future of thrash but for the burgeoning worlds of black and death metal, as well.
Slayer have also been playing a series of shows in North and South America where they are performing Reign in Blood in its entirety, including an upcoming two-night stand at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on November 13th and 14th. Get tickets here.
