Spoilers ahead for Silo season 3.Silo's past and present timelines collide in season 3's ending when Juliette and Daniel talk to each other for the first time. In an intriguing scene, Daniel even freezes a frame of Juliette's video and stares right into her eyes. This sequence prompted many viewers to question whether Juliette is directly related to Daniel in some way.

Some viewers are even theorizing that Juliette could be Daniel and Helen's daughter. Since Helen was pregnant before she was forced inside Silo 18, this theory may not seem completely implausible. However, it would only make sense if hardly 2 to 3 decades have passed since the central apocalypse.

Details from the show suggest that over 350 years have passed since the Silo Project's inception, and Silo 1's "founders," like Daniel, are only alive due to long cycles of cyrogenic freezing. If 350 years have actually passed since "Before Times," Helen is long dead, and Juliette cannot be Daniel's daughter. However, she can still be Helen's descendant in Silo 18.

George Wilkins Is More Likely To Be Daniel’s Descendant Via Helen

Long before Juliette's story escalated into chaos in Silo, she was a fairly stoic Mechanical worker who avoided getting involved in the affairs of the higher-ups. Her brief romantic relationship with George Wilkins is what gave her a glimpse of the world beyond their silo through his collection of relics. He even gave her the duck-headed Pez dispenser that led her to other mysteries of their silo.

Interestingly, as Silo season 2's ending flashback revealed, Daniel had gifted the same Pez dispenser to Helen during their first "date." Given how George Wilkins inherited the Pez dispenser as a family heirloom, it would make sense if he was Helen's direct descendant. He came from a long line of Flamekeepers who were determined to find the truth about their silo.

Apart from merely inheriting the Pez from Helen, he even acquired her rebellious nature and curiosity like his ancestor. Before his death, he passed the Pez and the flame of his curiosity and rebellion to Juliette.

Wilkins Was To Juliette What Helen Was To Daniel

Juliette's quest to find answers and trigger a rebellion against Silo 18's authorities started with George Wilkins' mysterious death. If it wasn't for Wilkins' death, Juliette probably would not have even considered taking the role of Silo 18's Deputy. It was her love for Wilkins that prompted her to find the truth about his death, which led her to other mysteries and lies surrounding their world.

Daniel will seemingly follow the same path in Silo season 4.

For centuries, Daniel was given a new identity (Troy) and forced to forget his past through memory-suppressing drugs. In Silo season 3's ending moments, however, Victor reminds Daniel of what Helen meant to him. Silo season 4's teaser features a scene in which Daniel meets Juliette for the first time and claims to not know who he is.

Like Juliette, Daniel seems to set out on a quest to find answers about his lost and stolen love, Helen. Similar to Juliette, his search for answers in Silo 18 in season 4 will lead him to the truth. As a result, like Juliette, he, too, will switch sides and join the rebellion against the founders.

Daniel Already Sees Helen In Juliette In Silo Season 3

Daniel might have lost his memories, but it seems like Juliette already reminds him of Helen. This explains why he stares into her eyes right after talking to her in Silo season 3's finale. Even after taking the memory-suppressing drug for centuries, a part of him still remembers Helen and how she never shied away from standing up for what is right.

Perhaps this will explain why he heads to Silo 18 in Silo season 4 and feels a burning desire to meet Juliette. Helen is probably long dead, but to honor her and her sacrifice, Daniel will help Juliette and, in turn, become a Flamekeeper himself.
