Translate

The Houthi group announced on Monday that it had targeted Dammam Airport in Saudi Arabia with two drones, as part of their ongoing military operations against the kingdom, Reuters reported.

The group also claimed to have targeted a military aircraft at Jazan Airport in Saudi Arabia – however, there has been no confirmation from the Saudi side regarding these claims.

The extent of any damage or the outcome of the reported attacks remains unclear.

Earlier on Monday, the Saudi Ministry of Defense announced the interception and destruction of two drones in the Riyadh region.

The Ministry’s official spokesperson, Turki Al-Maliki, said on “X” platform that two drones had been “intercepted and destroyed in the Riyadh region.”
