Netflix is bringing back Korean medical drama “The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call” for two more rounds, with the streamer confirming that Seasons 2 and 3 are in production.

In 2025, the show’s first season made the Top 10 charts in 63 countries and reached No. 1 in 18 of them.

Ju Ji-hoon (“Kingdom”) is back in the lead as Baek Kang-hyuk, a brilliant surgeon who will go to any length to keep a patient alive.

Choo Young-woo (“The Tale of Lady Ok”) also returns as Yang Jae-won. The character was the first protégé Baek took under his wing and has since followed his mentor’s path onto the trauma team.

Yoon Kyung-ho (“Husbands in Action”) reprises the role of Han Yu-rim. Once Baek’s adversary, Han is now a partner he relies on and heads planning and coordination for Hankuk National University Hospital.

Jeong Jae-kwang (“Take Charge of My Heart”) also comes back, stepping into the scrubs of anesthesiologist Park Gyeong-won once more.

Newcomer Jeong Ye-in, who landed the part after a demanding audition, plays nurse Cheon Jang-mi.

Lee Do-yun, who directed the first season, is back at the helm and is also penning the scripts.

The show is adapted from the webtoon “Trauma Center: Golden Hour.” Studio N and Mays Entertainment are producing, and Netflix is presenting.

Both new seasons will stream exclusively on Netflix. The streamer did not announce premiere dates for either installment.

Two of the show’s returning cast members also feature in Netflix’s current Korean lineup. Jeong Jae-kwang appears in romance series “Take Charge of My Heart,” which launched on the streamer Oct. 9. Yoon Kyung-ho is part of the ensemble of horror series “Dead-End Job,” led by Lee Jae-wook, which premieres Oct. 30.
