Ozzy & Black Sabbath Back to the Beginning Film and Soundtrack to Get Home Release in December

The new concert film Ozzy & Black Sabbath Back to the Beginning along with its accompanying soundtrack will get a Blu-ray/CD/vinyl/digital home release on December 11th.

The home release, which is available for pre-order, follows the film’s limited theatrical run, launching today, October 28th, in cinemas worldwide.

The concert film captures the historic Back to the Beginning concert that took place July 5th, 2025, in Birmingham, England. The Blu-ray version of the film clocks in at three-and-a-half hours, including the last-ever Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath sets, plus performances by Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Tool, Slayer, Pantera, and more. It also adds bonus videos including Jack Black covering Ozzy’s “Mr. Crowley” and Fred Durst singing Sabbath’s “Changes.”

The eight-song soundtrack focuses solely on the Ozzy and Sabbath performances, and features the songs “I Don’t Know,” “Mr. Crowley,” “Suicide Solution,” “Mama, I’m Coming Home,” “Crazy Train,” “War Pigs,” “N.I.B.,” “Iron Man,” and “Paranoid.”

In advance of the home release, a video of Ozzy performing “Mr. Crowley” at the concert is available to watch below. A deluxe box set will arrive on April 23rd, 2027, and is also available for pre-order.

“Back to the Beginning was a once-in-a-lifetime event that will go down in music history,” stated Sharon Osbourne. “Ozzy suffered from chronic pain during the final six years of his life. His only wish was to perform one last time to thank his fans and say goodbye. It was an incredible day when his peers in the rock world descended on Aston from all over the globe to celebrate his legendary talent and extraordinary legacy.”

Seventeen days after the Back to the Beginning concert, Ozzy Osbourne passed away at the age of 76.
