Asian Games 2026: India wins bronze in men’s skeet team event; Anantjeet misses bronze in individual final
Anant Jeet Singh Naruka, Bhavtegh Singh Gill, and Mairaj Ahmad Khan scored 346 points, with Naruka advancing to the individual medal round.

India won the bronze medal in the men’s skeet team event at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games on Wednesday, with Anant Jeet Singh Naruka, Bhavtegh Singh Gill and Mairaj Ahmad Khan combining for a total of 346 points.
The Indian trio finished behind gold medallist Qatar, which topped the standings with 353, and Kuwait, which took silver with 348. Kazakhstan also finished on 346 but was placed fourth, behind India in the final standings.

India had been fifth after the first four rounds with a cumulative score of 273 before a strong final round lifted it onto the podium.
Naruka also kept himself in contention for another medal after qualifying for the men’s individual skeet final. The 28-year-old shot 119 out of 125 to finish joint-fourth in qualification and secure his place in the medal round.
The men’s skeet individual final will be held at 12:30 PM IST on Wednesday.
