Tottenham finally scores in the Premier League — When did Spurs last score in the League?

Tottenham Hotspur finally broke the duck in the 2026-27 Premier League season when Conor Gallagher pulled a goal back against Aston Villa — despite the team trailing 1-3 — in London on Saturday.

Spurs, which narrowly escaped relegation last season, hoped to turn the tide under former Brighton and Hove Albion manager Roberto De Zerbi, but the start of the league campaign reveals a different story.

The team has lost three matches and drawn two in the League so far, failing to scored could have made it the team with the second-longest goal drought by a team in the Premier League from the start of season, after Crystal Palace’s tally of seven in the 2017-18 season.

However, Gallagher converted from a Mohammed Kudus pass to find the net. Jan Paul van Hecke doubled the lead in second-half-stoppage time but it was not enough as Spurs lost its third match in the first five rounds of the league, remaining in the relegation zone.

When did Spurs last score in the League?

Tottenham Hotspur’s last goal in the Premier League had come 493 minutes ago, against Everton at the same stadium, with Joao Palhinha scoring the winner.

That goal ensured Spurs remained in English top flight, with West Ham going down to the Championship consequently.
