Juventus have confirmed that Francisco Conceicao will undergo ‘conservative therapy’ rather than an operation to repair the damage to a dislocated shoulder that he suffered during Sunday evening’s 3-0 defeat against Lazio.
Conceicao doesn’t need surgery but could be out until international break, Juventus confirm
Reports on Monday morning suggested that Conceicao had suffered a dislocated shoulder during Juventus’s 3-0 defeat against Lazio at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday evening, which has recently been confirmed in a statement on the club website.

Unlike Italy international Mohamed Ali Zoma, who requires surgery on a similar injury, Conceicao will not go under the knife and will rehab his shoulder instead.
“Following the injury to his left shoulder suffered against Lazio, Francisco Conceicao underwent diagnostic tests at JMedical this morning,” read a statement on the Juventus website.
“The examinations showed a glenohumeral dislocation, which was amended yesterday evening. The player will undergo conservative therapy and has already begun the rehabilitation process.”
Reports from various outlets in Italy suggest that Conceicao will still be ruled out until the November international break, which would mean he misses out on upcoming matches against Lecce, Genoa, Napoli and Fiorentina in Serie A as well as Rennes and AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League.
