It’s a packed month, clearly, so to help you plan your watchlists better, here’s everything coming to Netflix in November 2026.

‘Black Doves’ Season 2 (2024–Present)

Arriving On: November 5, 2026

After a successful and acclaimed first season, Joe Barton’s spy thriller Black Doves returns after two years with an all-new second season. The series begins with Helen Webb, an undercover spy from the titular agency, living as an influential politician’s wife, who sets out to solve the murder of her lover with the help of her old friend and fellow spy, Sam. Keira Knightley and Ben Whishaw return as Helen and Sam, alongside Sarah Lancashire as their handler, Reed, with Ambika Mod, Neve Campbell, Babou Ceesay, and Samuel Barnett as new characters.

When Black Doves first premiered, the British series exploded on the streaming charts and earned rave reviews, ranking among the best spy shows of the 2020s. In the second season, Helen’s husband is elected the Prime Minister, and Reed is mysteriously replaced, with new Black Dove agents shaking Helen and Sam’s positions. As evident from the new season trailer, Black Doves Season 2 shifts from the warmer tone and style of the first season and dials up the scale and intensity with more action and higher stakes, making it a must-watch for thriller fans.

‘North of North’ Season 2 (2025–Present)

Arriving On: November 5, 2026

Created by Stacey Aglok MacDonald and Alethea Arnaquq-Baril, North of North is a Canadian comedy series that follows the story of Siaja, a young Inuk woman living in the fictional Arctic community of Ice Cove off the shores of Nunavut, whose identity is tied to her husband, the town’s golden boy, Ting. But when her marriage falls apart, Siaja sets out to rediscover herself and rebuild her life with their young daughter, navigating a new job and new relationships. Siaja is played by Anna Lambe, with Maika Harper, Braeden Clarke, Zorga Qaunaq, and Bailey Poching as other main characters.

Heavily inspired by the diverse Indigenous cultures of the region, North of North is a heartwarming story about loving yourself that also touches upon native lives and traditions through a humorous lens. Anchored by Lambe’s charming protagonist, the series finds a perfect balance between addressing issues of gender norms, spirituality, and sexuality, and traditional Inuit values. The first season of North of North earned critical acclaim for its storytelling and production values, winning several prestigious awards.

Collider Exclusive · 8 Questions · 2 Minutes Which Netflix Character Would Be Your Best Friend? Dustin · Emily · Wednesday · Gi-hun

Some friends drag you out of the house. Some sit with you on the worst night of your life. Netflix has written both, plus the one who tells you the truth you have been avoiding all week. Answer eight quick questions about how you actually do friendship, and find out which of them was always going to end up in your corner.

🧢Dustin(Stranger Things)

🗼Emily(Emily in Paris)

🕷️Wednesday(Wednesday)

🟢Gi-hun(Squid Game)

01

How do you usually end up making a new friend? The origin story says a lot about the friendship that follows it.

02

What is a perfect Saturday with your best friend? Friendship is mostly built out of very ordinary hours.

03

You call them at two in the morning. What happens? This is the real test of a friendship, and everybody knows it.

04

What do you want from them when you are clearly wrong? The best friendships are the ones that survive being corrected.

05

What do your friends actually value about you? The friend you attract says something about the friend you are.

06

You have a falling out. How does it go? How a friendship repairs itself matters more than how it breaks.

07

What do you actually need a best friend for? Everybody is missing something. The right friend fills that gap.

08

Ten years from now, what keeps the two of you close? Eight questions in, this is the one that decides who you get.

The Group Chat Has Spoken Your Best Friend Is…

Four Netflix characters, four completely different ways of showing up for somebody. This is the one who fits how you actually do friendship, and what having them in your life would be like.

Dustin Henderson

You do not do friendship at half volume, and neither does he. What you want is somebody who says yes to the plan before you have finished describing the plan.

  • Dustin is the friend the entire show runs on: loyal past the point of sense, enthusiastic about everything, and incapable of leaving anybody behind.
  • You have the same instinct. Your friendships are loud, specific and slightly ridiculous, and they last for decades because of it.
  • He is also the one person who would take your strangest interest completely seriously, which is far rarer than it sounds.
  • You would have a group chat. It would never once be quiet.

Emily Cooper

You are the friend who makes things happen, and so is she. Together you would be mildly exhausting to everyone around you and completely delighted with yourselves.

  • Emily treats an ordinary Tuesday as something that could be turned into an occasion, which is either the best or the worst quality in a friend depending on your energy levels.
  • You share her refusal to sit still. Neither of you has ever accepted a night in when something was happening somewhere else.
  • She is far more loyal than people give her credit for. She defends her friends loudly, publicly, and occasionally before checking the facts.
  • She would post the photo without asking. You would forgive her, because it is a very good photo.

Wednesday Addams

You have no patience for pleasant lies, and she has no ability to tell them. What looks like coldness from the outside is the most reliable friendship on this list.

  • Wednesday never says a kind thing she does not mean, which makes the rare ones count for an enormous amount.
  • You would rather be told the truth than be made comfortable. She is constitutionally incapable of offering you anything else.
  • Underneath all of it she is ferociously protective. She simply refuses to make a performance out of caring.
  • Do not expect a birthday message. Do expect her to ruin anyone who wrongs you.

Seong Gi-hun

You look after whoever is having the worst day. So does he. It is the least strategic way to move through the world and the best possible quality in a friend.

  • Gi-hun is not the strongest player in Squid Game, or the cleverest. He is the one who keeps choosing to protect somebody else, over and over, at genuine cost to himself.
  • You have the same instinct. You notice who is struggling and you stay with them, long after anybody would blame you for leaving.
  • He is a flawed friend, and that is part of why it lands. He lets people down, then comes back and tries again, which is more than most manage.
  • He would give you his last chance and never once mention that he had done it.

‘Heartland’ (2026)

Arriving On: November 13, 2026

Jessica Chastain stars in this upcoming mystery thriller film as Misty Jones, a former country music legend who lives a reclusive life away from the limelight. When her niece, rising music star Charlie Heart, goes missing, Misty is forced to return to Nashville after two decades and retread the darker sides of the music industry, which bring past betrayals and buried secrets to light. Heartland stars country musician Carter Faith as Charlie, with John Hawkes, Garrett Hedlund, Jennifer Nettles, Ross Lynch, and Ben Dickey as key characters.

Heartland is Jessica Chastain's first new thriller movie since the 2024 film Mothers' Instinct and marks her second film of 2026, following the horror movie Other Mommy. The Netflix original film is written and directed by Shana Feste, a director-screenwriter known for her debut feature film The Greatest, starring Pierce Brosnan and Susan Sarandon. Heartland is set up to be a suspenseful, slow-burn crime investigation revolving around the glossy yet cutthroat atmosphere of the new-generation Nashville music scene.

‘The Altruists’ (2026)

Arriving On: November 19, 2026

Inspired by New York Magazine articles by Kevin T. Dugan and Jen Wieczner, The Altruists is a limited series dramatizing the collapse of cryptocurrency exchange FTX, owned and operated by Sam Bankman-Fried. The plot centers on Bankman-Fried and his girlfriend, Caroline Ellison, who jointly helmed the crypto trading firm Alameda Research, exploring how their billion-dollar idealistic dreams came crashing down. Anthony Boyle and Julia Garner portray the infamous co-CEOs, with Alex Lawther, Matt Rife, Madison Hu, and Karan Soni as other real-life people involved in the scam.

The Altruists comes from Graham Moore, whom fans might know as a writer for the historical film The Imitation Game and his feature film debut, The Outfits. The eight-part series is produced by Barack and Michelle Obama’s Higher Grounds Productions. The Altruists is easily one of the biggest and most awaited television releases for November 2026 and coincides with the release of Prime Video's deep-dive documentary on Bankman-Fried, The Boy Who Stole Billions?.

‘The Hunting Wives’ Season 2 (2025–Present)

Arriving On: November 26, 2026

Following the explosive success of its first season, The Hunting Wives returns this fall with a wilder, darker, and more chaotic second chapter. Created by Rebecca Cutter, the series follows Sophie, who moves from Cambridge, Massachusetts, to an East Texas town with her husband and finds herself attracted to his boss’s wife, Margo, getting entangled with her dangerously seductive life and her titular clique. Brittany Snow, Malin Akerman, Evan Jonigkeit, George Ferrier, Dermot Mulroney, and Jaime Ray Newman return as the main characters, with John Stamos and Cam Gigandet joining in new roles.

Adapted from the novel of the same name by May Cobb, The Hunting Wives is deliciously and gorgeously dark and successfully spins its risqué drama into a bingeable crime thriller. Already renewed for a third season ahead of the Season 2 premiere, the Netflix original has amassed quite a fan following since the show’s premiere in 2025. The Hunting Wives Season 1 was acclaimed for Snow and Akerman’s fiery performances and topped the streamer’s charts as the most-streamed series in the United States at the time, so expectations are high for the upcoming Season 2.
