Hasaacas Ladies beat Ampem Darkoa Ladies to win 2026 Champion of Champions title
Hasaacas Ladies were crowned champions of the Champion of Champions following their win over Ampem Darkoa Ladies over the weekend.
Milot Pokuaa returned to haunt the Techiman-based side as the Hasmal Ladies claimed a 1-0 victory at the Otumfour AtsroTurf in Kumasi.
Both teams came into the fixture having won the Women's Premier League and FA Cup, respectively, meeting in the final of the former, where Ampem Darkoa Ladies came from behind to win 2-1.
AMpem Darkoa Ladies had a strong start to the game but couldn't break the Hasaacas' defence lines.
Milot and Veronica Baah Kumah came close to scoring for Raymond Fenny's side in the first half, but their efforts went just wide of the goalposts.
The breakthrough, however, came in the 61st minute when a combination play between Comfort Owusu and Milot led to the latter putting the ball past the Ampem Darkoa Ladies goalkeeper to open the scoring.
The game is a curtain raiser for the 2026/27 Goldfields Women's Premier League season, which starts this weekend.
