During the premiere of season 2 of ‘Saturday Night Live UK,' the cast members poked fun at Markle and the Prince’s UK move and planned a comedic sketch around the scenario. The parody sketch, which opened the September 12 episode, featured jokes about the couple’s “Netflix money” and made fun of Markle’s cooking skills. The episode started with King Charles and Queen Camilla, portrayed by Larry Dean and Emma Sidi, enjoying some time away in a cosy room at Balmoral Castle.

The king comments, “Oh, Camilla, nothing like a quiet Saturday in Balmoral. Clean Scottish air, dirty Scottish people … bliss,” while Camilla agrees, saying, “I do so love our weekends away. No responsibilities - just like every other day.” Harry and Meghan, portrayed by Jack Shep and Ayoade Bamgboye, just then walk into the room, with the Duke of Sussex cheerfully saying, “Daddy, I’m home.

"

The sketch then moves on to take a jab at Markle’s cooking show titled ‘With Love, Meghan.'

The actors poke fun at her cooking skills and even have the Duchess of Sussex bring Queen Camilla an ice tray as a gift while saying, “It’s ice. I made it myself. I can give you the recipe. I’m kind of a wiz in the kitchen." King Charles joins in and adds, “It’s true. She hires the best cooks.”King Charles then is seen questioning his son about his move back to the UK, commenting, “Don’t tell me you spent all your Netflix money already." To this, the Prince replies in a whining tone, “Daddy, it was $60 million! How long was it meant to last?” They also mentioned King Charles' official orders about how Meghan and the Prince are now “akin to private citizens with commercial and charitable interests," with the Prince complaining, “Daddy, just because I don’t want to be a royal doesn’t mean I want to be a regular guy.

The September 12 episode had a lot of other creative skits for fans, while ‘Jurassic Park’ star Jeff Goldblum hosted the episode.
