The Rossoneri are back on track in Serie A with their 3-1 victory against rivals Inter at the weekend, but the Europa League is a very different situation.

They are lagging behind after just one win and two defeats in the tournament, Mike Maignan suspended after his red card in the heavy 3-0 loss at Bournemouth.

With Pietro Terracciano also injured, it means third-choice goalkeeper Lorenzo Torriani has to step in.

Strahinja Pavlovic is rested, with Fikayo Tomori, Matteo Gabbia, Samuel Chukwueze, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Alexis Saelemaekers injured.

There is squad rotation, with Sankhoun Diawara moving to central defence, while Rabiot is in support of striker Goncalo Ramos.

Ferencvaros are certainly not to be underestimated, because the Hungarians went into this round top of the Europa League table with a 100 per cent record after victories over Celtic, Viktoria Plzen and Torreense.

They have some injury concerns too, missing Krisztian Lisztes, with Franko Kovacevic and Daniel Radnoti not fully fit, while Gergo Szecsi, Bence Otvos, Barnabas Nagy and Isaac Pappoe are ineligible.

Midfielder Adam Nagy is no stranger to Italian football, as he is currently on loan from Spezia.

Kristoffer Zachariassen is their top scorer in the Europa League with three goals in as many games.
