She beat Canada’s Rachel Chan and Thailand’s Passa-Orn Phannachet in straight games before delivering a standout performance against compatriot and top-10-seeded Malvika Bansod in the quarterfinals.

Quarterfinals: Defeated Tonrug Saeheng (21–18, 21–16)

This semifinal clash marks the first senior head-to-head meeting between Tanvi and Sarunrak Vitidsarn from Thailand. The two had previously met in the third round of the Asia Junior Championships of 2024, where the Thai shuttler had ruled the roost with a score of 21-12, 21-19.

Tanvi, having recently claimed her first BWF World Tour title at the Taipei Open, will look to settle scores to book a spot in the final.
