2027: Group backs Tinubu, Kefas for re-election

Translate

JALINGO — A political support group, the Kefas/Tinubu 2027 Support Network (KSN), on Friday declared its support for the re-election bids of President Bola Tinubu and Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas, citing youth inclusion in governance as the major reason for its decision.

The group made its position known in Jalingo during the inauguration of its campaign office.

The Convener of KSN, Hon. Justin Aondoasee Tyopuusu, said the deliberate inclusion of young people in leadership positions by the two administrations had restored hope among Nigerian youths.

He said the mobilisation effort was aimed at ensuring continuity in youth-focused governance, economic reforms and policy implementation at both the state and national levels.

Tyopuusu said, “Our decision to support President Tinubu and Governor Kefas for re-election is anchored on the fact that their administrations have prioritised youth inclusiveness and expanded opportunities for the younger generation.

“Their sustained efforts to revitalise both the Taraba and national economies deserve our collective support to succeed.”

He expressed appreciation to Architect Benjamin Gani for donating a campaign secretariat and two operational vehicles to support the group’s mobilisation activities across the state.

Tyopuusu also urged residents to support the movement.

Responding on behalf of Governor Kefas, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, Prof. Josiah Sabo Kente, commended the group for the initiative.

Kente reiterated the state government’s commitment to youth development, assuring that the Kefas administration would continue to provide platforms for young people to contribute ideas towards the development of Taraba State.
