It's one of three trips the league will make to Florida next year. The Loco Beach Coconuts and the Bananas will play at Tropicana Field on May 7-8, while the Coconuts will play the Party Animals in LoanDepot Park on Sept. 11.
The Bananas debuted in 2016 in Savannah, Georgia with the goal of making baseball fun. Initially a collegiate summer baseball team in the Coastal Plain League, the team debuted its now world famous "Banana Ball" in 2018 before folding its college team in 2022 and becoming a barnstorming team.
Owners Jesse and Emily Cole, who own the Bananas through Fans First Entertainment have since added five professional teams to the tour, forming the Banana Ball Championship League. The organization expected more than three millions fans to attend their 2026 World Tour.
Banana Ball came to Florida for the first time on Feb. 8, 2024, at George Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, Florida. It came to the Florida panhandle for the first time in Tallahassee Feb. 26-28, with the first two nights at Dick Howser Field before playing the last night in front of 67,000 fans at Doak Campbell Stadium.
