The technical foul assessed to Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic late in the second quarter of Monday's 138-117 win over the Miami Heat was rescinded, the NBA announced.
The league's decision reduced Doncic's season total from two to one technical fouls.
After not being a whistled for a tech in his first four outings, Doncic's tech Monday had been his second in his last three games before the league's ruling.
"This season," Doncic said on Oct. 21, "I'm trying to not get techs."
A player receives an automatic one-game suspension and a $5,000 fine if he is whistled for 16 technical fouls during the regular season.
Doncic has reached that number in four of his eight seasons in the league, including last year with the Lakers when he had to serve a one-game suspension during L.A.'s 120-101 victory over the Washington Wizards on March 30.
