P. V. Sindhu will look to secure a quarterfinal spot at the Hylo Open 2026 when she faces France’s Rosy Oktavia Pancasari in the Round of 16 in Germany on Thursday.
The two players, both 31, have never faced each other and are separated by 111 places in the BWF World Rankings. Second seed Sindhu is ranked eighth, while Pancasari sits at 119th.
Sindhu enters the contest after a comfortable win over the UAE’s Prakriti Bharath in the first round. Pancasari, meanwhile, came from a game down to beat Germany’s Yvonne Li and book her place in the last 16.
