Hollyoaks confirms Frankie's new career ahead of shocking new scenes

Hollyoaks has confirmed Frankie Osbourne's new career path ahead of some shocking scenes that are set to air next week.

Recently, Nancy saw a lot of potential in Frankie as a nurse after seeing how good she was with Leah Barnes, and that is indeed the new avenue she will be pursuing looking ahead.

In scenes set to air next week, it's Frankie's first day of work experience, and she's shocked and distressed to see one of her friends get rushed in to hospital.

The spoilers don't reveal exactly who it is, but anyone who saw the latest episode knows that Lucas Hay was left for dead after being attacked by Cindy Cunningham, so that wouldn't be a huge surprise.

Later on, Frankie sees Kathleen-Angel McQueen in the hospital and suspects that she might be there for a pregnancy test — although viewers already know that she is pregnant and too far along for a medication abortion, and has to go through a surgical procedure if she doesn't want to have the baby.

Frankie encourages Kathleen-Angel to go her appointment, but she ends up not doing it.

Instead, Kathleen-Angel — who has already lied to Ro Hutchinson by saying she's already had a termination — decides to hide in the toilet and ask an AI for advice about pregnancy symptoms.

Will she go through with having the baby, and will Frankie want to stick with her new career path? And what will happen to Lucas after the events of this week?

Next week's instalments will also feature a special flashback episode that explains everything that's been going on with Imran Maalik lately.

Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
