Five Thai workers injured, one seriously, in detonation of previously undiscovered ordnance
Two Thai workers were seriously injured, and four others were lightly or moderately injured after a previously undetonated ordinance exploded in a farm near Metula on Tuesday morning.
The origin of the ordnance has not yet been determined.
Israel Police responded to the scene of the incident and have begun an investigation into the circumstances of the explosion.
According to Magen David Adom, three of the injured workers were airlifted to Rambam Health Care Campus in Haifa for treatment.
