OPINION - George Galloway: We need an end to wokery, greenery and quackery

Britain can rebuild again. That is our belief.

Our people made ships of steel when the Americans were still cowboys.

Our Industrial Revolution changed the world for ever.

But we need a blitz-spirit of which London was the beating heart.

We need to be rid of an anti-British government selling out our pensioners to fund the NATO war machine, crawling to the madness of Donald Trump. An end to wokery, greenery and quackery.

To unite our people on vital national priorities and end division along identity politics.

We all have multiple identities but the one that matters most today is that we are subjects of a fading failing Ealing comedy state presided over by a rotten establishment of losers in danger of sinking our ship with the loss of all hands.

We need an experienced steady hand on the tiller. One who never changed. Straight forward. Straight talking. A new man in a black hat.

We need Common Sense socialism. Free Speech. Banking FOR Britain not the bankers. A set of industrial priorities to rebuild Britain.

Food and Energy Security. No Farmers no Food. Public ownership of a powerful British Energy Corporation which takes command of the sector to fuel a British renaissance.

Brexit has failed because we have not used it to do the things we are now free to do. Like buying British! Like quantitative easing for investment in production. Like an independent foreign policy!

London is still a world class brand. But we are being dragged down by crime and I don’t just mean City Hall. We have criminals in the Palace, at Westminster and in Whitehall. We have police on TikTok and policing Twitter instead of catching crooks- not that we have the jails to put them in!

Britain needs a Cromwell who will go into the hive of scum and villainy and clean it out.

Things are that serious believe me. There has never been a darker moment on this island since the skies over London were black with bombers and the city was burning.

At which point Britain united under a national unity prime minister, rolled up its sleeves, put differences aside with Soviet Russia and saved not only ourselves but helped to save the world. We can do it again.
