Noah Kahan Brings Chappell Roan on Stage for “California” Performance: Watch

Noah Kahan welcomed Chappell Roan on stage during his Saturday concert at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena to perform her song “California.” Watch fan-made video below.

Late into the 27-song set on Kahan’s “The Great Divide Tour,” he introduced Roan, who thanked the audience before giving Kahan some appreciation. “Noah always stands up for me,” Roan told the crowd. “He’s a good person, for real.”

Before performing “California,” a song from Roan’s 2023 debut album The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, Kahan said the track was the first he ever heard by his fellow performer, and it was “the reason I fell in love with her.”

“I’m just really proud of her and grateful that she would come sing with me,” Kahan said.

Kahan’s “The Great Divide Tour” continues Monday at Petco Park in San Diego.

Roan will be performing at Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields festival August 29th. Roan also recently announced “The Super Graphic Spectacular” fundraiser taking place in October to benefit her nonprofit The Midwest Princess Project, which supports LGBTQ+ youth.
