On his X account, Andile Mngxitama tweeted over the weekend: “Ventersdorp white farmer Donovan Marx had his ears cut off during a Plaas moord aanval [farm murder attack]. Attacking the ears is symbolic to denote the refusal of land thieves to listen. No land, no peace.

He added, “Farm life is overdetermined by systematic violence! Blacks got killed and fed to pigs!”

He responded to his critics: “Job done”, “Point made” and “I said what I said”.

He added: “Cry some more” and “Give the land back first”

Andile Mngxitama’s tweet about Donovan Marx’s gruesome farm attack has elicited widespread backlash on social media.

FFP MP Renaldo Gouws responded to the tweet, urging the public to report the comments to the South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC). He also called on Mngxitama to be formally removed from parliament.
