錦上路村屋天台起火 一隻貓身亡

下午1時許，八鄉錦上路金爵花園一幢3層高村屋天台疑突然起火，火勢猛烈，並一度傳出巨響，附近多名村民報警。消防接報趕至現場開喉撲救，其後將火救熄，事件中無人受傷、無需疏散，天台有雜物被焚。消防在一單位內救出一隻貓，惜搶救後證實不治。現場所見，中電亦派員到場檢查。經初步調查，相信天台一電器懷疑短路過熱起火。
