Live: CBA brings forward rate hike forecast, ASX set to slide despite Wall Street gains
Considering the volatility of the week, Wall Street's Friday session was relatively uneventful, with a rally in semiconductor stocks dragging the market to a marginal gain.
With only a small tech sector here, the ASX looks like it will come under renewed selling pressure today despite stronger commodity prices.

Good morning and welcome to another day on the ABC markets and finance blog.
Stephen Letts from the ABC business team here, limbering up for blow-by-blow coverage of the day's events, where every post is hopefully a winner but none should be construed as financial advice.
Wall Street's benchmark S&P 500 eked out a small gain on Friday but still made a marginal loss over what was a volatile week's trading.
The ASX looks like shedding more value today.
When trading closed on Saturday morning, ASX 200 futures pointed to a 0.7% decline.
