Streaming Ratings: ‘Reacher’ Tops 1 Billion Viewing Minutes for Fifth Straight Week

Prime Video’s Reacher continued its strong season four run into the second week of September, scoring more than a billion minutes of viewing for the fifth consecutive week.

The series also repeated as the No. 1 overall streaming title in the United States, according to Nielsen. Reacher, which had 1.18 billion viewing minutes in the week of Sept. 7-13, has held that spot in four of the five weeks since it premiered in mid-August.

The Gentlemen improved some in its second week after the premiere of season two, rising 22 percent to 881 million minutes of watch time on Netflix. Hulu’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives rejoined the charts with the release of a new season, drawing 561 million viewing minutes. Apple TV’s Silo (418 million minutes) also hung on in the top 10 originals a week after its third season finale.

The Big Bang Theory dipped back below a billion minutes but still finished second overall with 971 million viewing minutes and led the acquired series top 10. Former TNT series Major Crimes debuted in the rankings with 906 million minutes on Netflix and Pluto TV (it was added to Netflix on Sept. 3). Major Crimes is a spinoff of The Closer, which had a six-week run on the charts at the beginning of the year. Lanterns (525 million minutes on HBO Max) improved a little on its chart debut the previous week.

Tyler Perry’s Netflix film Why Did I Get Married Again? topped the movie rankings and was third among all titles with 908 million minutes of watch time. The 1998 movie Practical Magic (236 million minutes on HBO Max) hit the charts in the same week its sequel was released in theaters.

Nielsen’s streaming ratings cover viewing on TV sets only and don’t include minutes watched on computers or mobile devices. The ratings only measure U.S. audiences. The top streaming titles for Sept. 7-13, 2026, are below.
