Oasis’ second ‘Live ’27’ Paris show under threat of cancellation, report claims
Oasis‘ second upcoming show in Paris on their ‘Live ’27’ tour is reportedly under threat due to planned transport works.
The Britpop icons confirmed their tour earlier this week (Monday September 14), with plans for 38 shows kicking off next May.
Dates open with five nights at Glasgow’s Celtic Park, before an impressive 11 gigs at The Etihad in Manchester, followed by shows across Europe including two nights at the Stade de France on July 23 and 24.
But according to a report in Le Parisien, the second show could be cancelled due to planned works on the public transport network between Île-de-France and Hauts-de-France in Paris on the same day.

The report also claims that Georges-François Leclerc, the prefect for Paris, has written two letters to Christophe Cizeron, who serves as president of GL Events and of the Société d’exploitation du Stade de France, instructing him not to authorise the concert. A source told the publication alternative dates have been proposed to Live Nation France.
The shows are also yet to appear on the Stade de France official website.
But Angelo Gopee, head of Live Nation France, insisted to Le Parisien that both shows will go ahead as planned. “We wouldn’t have announced and put these dates on sale if we hadn’t had the necessary approvals a long time ago. This tour has been in the works for a year, and we’ve had the green light. There’s no issue!” he added.

The last time Oasis were in Paris, the Gallaghers’ had a huge bust up which led to their split in 2009.
“It’s with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight,” Noel Gallagher said in a statement at the time. “People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with [singer, his brother] Liam a day longer.”
Last week, the band teased the latest shows in the French capital, which featured a man eating a plum before throwing it away referencing Noel’s previous claim that Liam threw a plum at him and wielded a guitar “like an axe” backstage on the night which led to him leaving the band.
Their recent tour announcement comes following their new documentary Don’t Look Back In Anger arriving in cinemas, which was then followed by a teaser campaign that culminated in a drone show over the Etihad.
Oasis have already said that, following the chaotic struggle to get tickets for the first wave of Live ‘25 shows, they will be adopting the same on-sale model they did for their latter Wembley shows – inviting fans to register for the chance to buy tickets.
Fans must register before Thursday (September 17) at 4pm BST / 5pm CEST / 8am PT / 11am ET and can do so here, and those who are successful in the ballot will then be sent a code to access an allocated on-sale window at a specific time.
That on-sale time will take place across Friday 25, Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September in the UK. This registration process is the only way to buy tickets, and standard ticket prices will be fixed between £71.50 and £266.60, including fees.
In a recent interview, Noel promised that Oasis‘ ‘Live ’27’ tour will be “so much better” than their comeback shows in 2025.
Beck has also suggested to NME in a new interview, that drummer Joey Waronker will be touring with Oasis again for their ‘Live ’27’ shows despite speculation that he had been dropped from the tour.
