Nova Minerals rises as U.S. commits $249M to Port Mackenzie rail infrastructure

Nova Minerals (NVA) jumped 6.1% pre-market Wednesday after the Trump administration announced a $249M federal grant to complete the final stages of the Port MacKenzie rail extension project, providing a key transportation link to support the development of critical minerals in Alaska.
The 32-mile extension will link Alaska Railroad Corporation's main line with Port MacKenzie, home to Nova Minerals' (NVA) planned antimony processing and refining facility, while enhancing transportation access for resource development projects across Alaska and the region.
Nova Minerals (NVA) said its direct rail siding at Port Mackenzie will allow shipments of antimony and other critical mineral ore and concentrate feedstock to move from the Alaskan interior and the region directly to its planned antimony and critical minerals processing and refining hub at Port MacKenzie through the new rail extension.
Nova Minerals (NVA) "will directly benefit from the speed and efficiency enabled by the Port MacKenzie rail extension, with our planned antimony processing and refining facility situated directly along the extension rail line," CEO Christopher Gerteisen said.
