After Manu Koné left the field in tears, Roma also lost Paulo Dybala to injury during the Champions League showdown with Real Madrid.
The Giallorossi were fired up for their big night, the first Champions League fixture at the Stadio Olimpico for over seven years.
However, there were some concerns for coach Gian Piero Gasperini, who has said many times his squad is already so thin for playing in Serie A and the Champions League this season.
Roma worries intensifying

It was a sorry sight in the first 17 minutes, with France international Manu Koné leaving the field in tears, as he suffered another potentially serious injury.
The situation got even worse when Dybala did not come back out for the second half, making way for Rodrigo Mora.
Sky Sport Italia confirm that La Joya was suffering from a muscular issue that will need further tests to give a better idea of the damage.

Dybala’s career has always been affected by muscular problems, although they had seemed to be considerably improved so far this season with a run of starts.
Roma are already forced to do without goalkeeper Mile Svilar for at least a month with a fractured toe, while Bryan Cristante is dealing with a knee injury.
