India’s 492-member contingent is set to participate in the 20th Asian Games, soon to get underway in Aichi-Nagoya from September 19.

In the previous edition, India registered its highest-ever medal haul of 106, out of which 28 were gold — the most won by India at a single Asiad.

India was also one of the only four countries that won over 100 medals in Hangzhou, following host nation China (383 medals), Japan (188 medals), and Republic of Korea (190 medals).
