Nashville artists Ashley Monroe, Tenille Townes, Fancy Hagood, Smithfield, Abbey Cone and Corrina are teaming with Cameo Carlson‘s artist development, marketing and strategy company mtheory, thanks to a partnership with artist manager and digital strategist Amanda Quinton, who brings her management roster to mtheory.

Quinton founded the digital marketing company Quinton Digital in 2018, and then in 2023 expanded into artist management. Quinton will continue to oversee operations of Quinton Digital, which remains independent of her artist management work; Quinton Digital clients for social media and marketing include Muscadine Bloodline, Kassi Ashton, Ben Rector, Marty Stuart, Larkin Poe, Blackberry Smoke and more.

“I’ve looked up to Cameo Carlson since I first moved to Nashville and have had the privilege of calling her a mentor since I started working for myself in 2016,” Quinton said in a statement. “We’ve talked about finding the right way to work together for years, and with the recent growth of my management roster, the timing finally felt right. I couldn’t be prouder of the talent I have the privilege of representing, and I’m grateful to have found a partner who believes in their potential as much as I do.”

Carlson added, “Amanda is exactly the kind of entrepreneurial, forward-thinking manager we love partnering with. I’ve watched her build an incredible business and develop a roster of artists who are as talented as they are distinctive. She has great instincts, a deep commitment to her artists, and the drive to build careers that last. We’ve talked about working together for years, so I’m thrilled we finally found the right opportunity to combine what she’s built with the resources and expertise of mtheory. I couldn’t be more excited about what we can accomplish together.”

mtheory was founded in 2010 and has offices in Nashville, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and New Orleans.

Quinton is also a member of the 2026 CMA Women’s Leadership Academy and is part of the leadership team behind Digital Divas. She has also served on the SOLID board of directors and participated in the Recording Academy’s GRAMMY U program.
