Quad bike incidents claim two lives in two days near Victoria-NSW border
A man has died after a quad bike crash just outside of Wodonga on Monday evening.
Victoria Police said a 42-year-old man crashed his bike on Huon Creek Road, south of Wodonga, just after 8pm.
He was taken to hospital with critical injuries and died.
Police said a report was being prepared for the coroner.
WorkSafe Victoria has been contacted for comment.
New South Wales Police alleged the man was being towed by a quad bike when he struck a goal post.
A 20-year-old man has been charged with dangerous driving occasioning death and negligent driving causing death and will face Wagga Wagga Local Court on Wednesday.
