Jean and Dom spent much of The Madame Blanc Mysteries season 4 trying to keep their new relationship under wraps for fear of complicating matters, but they very nearly did that themselves.

When an old friend of Jean's arrived on the scene, Dom misread their dynamic and for a hot minute, his jealousy almost destroyed their romance.

Thankfully, they were drawn back together in the finale – and, in a hugely joyous development, Dom asked Jean to marry him and she said yes, because of course she did!

But planning the wedding isn't the only thing keeping them busy.

Sally Lindsay returns as Jean White and Steve Edge reprises the role of Dom Hayes.

The Madame Blanc Mysteries season 5 plot: What will happen?

Season 5 picks up as Jean and Dom plan their wedding, only to find that nothing can prepare them for the obstacles ahead.

Over the course of the run, a dead body is found in one of the show's iconic locations, Uncle Patrick hosts a pub quiz at La Couronne, Judith and Jeremy face a heart-wrenching dilemma, and someone is discovered foaming at the mouth in St Victoire Theatre.

Viewers will also witness the full wrath of John Marsden, and wait to see whether Jean and Dom finally make it down the aisle.
