He was the Ravens beat writer for the Baltimore Sun from 2000-2011.

The Baltimore Ravens plan to have quarterback Lamar Jackson return for Sunday's game at the Buffalo Bills, coach Jesse Minter said Friday.

Jackson has missed the past three games with a high left ankle sprain. He was a full participant in every practice this week.

The quarterback said he still feels pain when he plants his foot, "but it's bearable." Jackson explained that he wasn't able to return for last week's loss to the Cincinnati Bengals after his ankle began swelling again.

Without Jackson, the Ravens went 1-2 and enter the weekend in last place in a tight AFC North race, as all four teams have winning records. The Ravens have failed to score in the second half in losses the past two weeks.
