Zendaya, Aubrey Plaza & More Celeb Fans Cheering on the WNBA

Jason Sudeikis Enjoys Family Night Out With His, Olivia Wilde's Kids at WNBA Game
Zendaya is all about these challengers.
The actress attended Game Five of the 2026 WNBA Finals between the Golden State Valkyries and the Atlanta Dream at San Francisco’s Chase Center on Oct. 26. And if you’re wondering which team Zendaya was cheering for, you could say the Oakland, Calif., native didn’t have to search far from home—proudly donning her violet T-shirt and beating her inflatable thunder sticks as she rooted for the Valkyries.
While the WNBA finals have proven to be quite the odyssey, the Valkyries beat the Dream with a final score of 64 to 55—giving them a three-to-two lead in the best-of-seven series so far. The two teams will face off in Game Six at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena on Oct. 29.
As for Zendaya, she hasn’t dribbled around her love of basketball.
"I’m the child of two parents, one of which was a basketball coach and a P.E. teacher," the Space Jam: A New Legacy star told Extra in 2021. "My mom is 6-foot-4. So, she played college basketball and she loves to tell everybody how she broke records for most amount of rebounds. So, I definitely come from a basketball family."
But did Zendaya ever consider shooting her shot and playing the game herself?
"I was supposed to be a basketball player. That didn’t obviously work out," the Euphoria alum added before teasing, "My dad is still upset about that."
However, Zendaya isn’t the only celebrity who's been spotted during the 2026 WNBA Finals. Kerry Washington, Ludacris and Megan Rapinoe are also among the big names to sit courtside during the championship series.
