Arrowhead Stadium has seen plenty of game-winning drives, but few love stories begin there. Gracie Hunt, 27, and Derek Green, 26, met inside it. This summer they went back after their engagement party, stood together in a suite above the field, held hands and kissed. Hunt is the daughter of Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt. Green is the son of Super Bowl champion quarterback Trent Green, so football runs deep on both sides of this match. The couple got engaged on April 4, and they have kept the wedding date strictly private so far.
Gracie Hunt And Derek Green Built Their Proposal Around Candles, Flowers And Family
Green set the scene with a long path of candles and white flowers that led to an outdoor altar. Both sets of parents watched as he knelt and wiped away tears. Hunt later posted the photos, including a close-up of her emerald-cut ring, under the caption "It was always you."
The two have known each other far longer than the engagement suggests. They have been friends since 2017, though Hunt only made the romance public on Instagram in May 2025.

When the engagement party wrapped up, she posted a clip from the stadium box with the words "Engagement party debrief in the place where we met." Her mother, Tavia Hunt, filled the comments with love.
Gracie Hunt Is Still Showing Up For The Kansas City Chiefs Before Her Big Day
Wedding plans keep growing. Hunt invited 14 women to be bridesmaids at a brunch and picked Evergreen as the wedding hashtag. She still turns up at Arrowhead Stadium on game days, and her view of the job is easy to find in her own words: "When it comes to the Chiefs, there's no 'I' in 'team'. It's not about me. I am certainly so fulfilled by all the things that I have created for myself opportunity-wise outside of football. But it's been a pleasure to be of some part of something that's greater than myself, to serve where there's room and need and to be their number one fan."
That loyalty comes from how the franchise runs. Hunt calls it a family business, and in her words, "I'd say the beauty about our family organization is that there's a place for everyone."
