Ikorodu City Celebrate Atata, Adeoye’s Super Eagles Call-Ups
Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) club Ikorodu City have celebrated their two players Michael Atata and Aderemi Adeoye, on their Super Eagles call-ups.
On Thursday, Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle unveiled his squads for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau and the international friendly with Russia.
Atata and Adeoye made the cut in the 24-man list for the friendly encounter with Russia which will come up on October 6.
While Atata is one of the three goalkeepers (Stanley Nwabali, Samuel James), Adeoye is part of the eight midfielders (Wilfred Ndidi, Chibuzor Nwoko, Raphael Onyedika, Fumen Michael, Georges Wilfred, Popoola Abdulrazaq, Suleiman Mubarak) listed.
