Speaker Dy welcomes Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo

MANILA, Philippines — House Speaker Faustino “Bojie” Dy III welcomed two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo during his courtesy call at the Speaker’s Office on Wednesday, August 12.

Yulo made history at the 2024 Paris Olympics by winning gold medals in the men’s artistic gymnastics floor exercise and vault events.

In June, the 26-year-old gymnast also won gold in the floor exercise at the 2026 Asian Men’s Artistic Gymnastics Championships.

Yulo was accompanied by House Committee on Youth and Sports Development Chairperson and Isabela 5th District Rep. Faustino Michael Carlos Dy III and Philippine Sports Commission Chairperson Patrick Gregorio.
