A 32-year-old woman died after being stabbed by her live-in partner—reportedly due to jealousy—in Sitio Asuphua, Barangay Basak San Nicolas, Cebu City, yesterday morning, Wednesday, October 28, 2026, DYSS Super Radyo GMA's Decemay Padilla reported.

The victim is alias Carin, 32 years old, while the suspect is her live-in partner, alias Jestoni, 36 years old, a driver; both are residents of Barangay Basak San Nicolas, Cebu City.

According to information from Mambaling Police Station 11 of the Cebu City Police Office, the victim and the suspect had an argument before the stabbing took place.

The suspect is said to be jealous of the victim's alleged boyfriend.
