Johnny Depp Seeks Out Revenge in Very Bloody Day Drinker Trailer: Watch
Johnny Depp’s return to the big screen isn’t just limited to reinterpreting Dickens — the once-massive star also leads the upcoming Day Drinker, directed by Marc Webb (the Amazing Spider-Man movies, the live-action Snow White).
In the new revenge thriller, per the official release, “a private-yacht bartender (Madelyn Cline) encounters a mysterious, onboard guest (Johnny Depp). They soon find themselves entangled with a criminal figure (Penélope Cruz) and connected in ways no one saw coming.” The result appears to be bloody chaos, with Depp’s character wielding an axe at one point.
